Timeshare vs Discounted Travel

Timeshare vs discounted travel? What is the difference? Let me sum up our experience.

Tom and I just just returned from Orlando Fl on our second honeymoon. WOW, what a time we had after 22 years of being married to find time to get away and save money at the same time. We were able to do this by using our lifetime discounted travel membership with Coastal Vacations. As owners of this membership we can travel the world at short notice or plan it in advance for pennies on the dollar. We have rented homes, stayed in hotels for room taxes only and this latest trip was at the Radisson Worldgate Resort. We paid $42 a night where others were paying $118. That included taxes. For our 5 night stay we saved $381.

Timeshare vs discounted travel facts here we come! This resort had a timeshare presentation we listened to. We have friends who own timeshares and are trying to sell them. We wondered why. This timeshare would include the initial investment (our example was 26,000), and maintenance fees (anywhere from $300 to $800), and a booking fee (per vacation). Over a 30 year period you could easily spend upwards of $60,000 or more . Typically, you had only 1 or 2 weeks of vacation at the same resort chain. Not too many places to see. That also depended on how many points you purchased and how many you use per year. You could always buy more but then again that will cost more. We were glad to have a membership with no maintenance fees, we can pass it on to our kids, and take as many vacations in one year that we want anywhere in the world saving thousands of dollars over a lifetime. We had chosen well with our membership to Coastal Vacations.

We cannot wait to use the new Fly and Stay to an all inclusive resort in Mexico for $125 per person. The board of directors are always adding to this membership with new vacations twice a year at no additional cost. Once again saving us money. We have also used the golf card for 2 for1 green fees, the dining card for buy 1 get one free, and the $1000 shopping gift certificate ($6.95 cost to you) for gifts (Christmas is coming). Oh and theme parks discounts too. Timeshare vs discounted travel? We were seeing lots of "options" with our membership. No shopping or dining discounts with timeshares.

"Where else can we save like this?" is what we ask ourselves often. We look forward to using more vacations and seeing new places with the family. Stay tuned for the next vacation news. Our goal is to share this information with as many people as we can so they can travel the world and save thousands instead of spend thousands. If you are looking to save lots of money and enjoy a lifetime of discounted travel, shopping, and adventures you do the research.

Learning Online Marketing

Wow! I am learning so much about online marketing.
The first thing I jumped into was a press release. It was so foreign however, I think I am getting the hang of it. The more you do the better you get. It is quick too. Write it in word first that way you don't lose it. Also use the 3rd person writing technique. Post it and in about 12 hours or less you have a confirmation with a link to it. What a way to share information others can benefit from. Make sure you fill out the profile there. That will put you higher in the search engines. The more you do the more the higher you go.
The next I tried was an article. Now that stumped me. I thought about just too much. So I built onto my press release. Wouldn't others want to know how to save thousands traveling the world? I tied that into timeshares. What is the difference. I took my press release and wrote it from the first person. It sometimes can take a week to get it approved.
There are free places where you can submit. I am frugal so free is good. It is good to start here. You are building your own network "web" so to speak. Lots of things can be added. You usually register at the site, create your profile and then get to writing and sharing. Then post and keep doing it over and over. It's almost like blogging.
Learning is such fun. I like to laugh and try to enjoy the things that I do. Isn't that what life is about. Oh, and helping others learn too. I have not had this much fun with something new in a very long time.
So tune next time for more information on other online marketing to brand yourself.ow, I am

Where Are You Casting Your Nets?

Have you ever wondered if you are casting your nets where you should be? Somedays it seems as though you are walking thru the motions doesn't it? No matter what you throw out there nothing comes back. I ask myself is this where I am supposed to be?

Take a look at where you are right now. Where were you 6 months ago? Now ask yourself where do you want to be in the next 6 months. I don't mean just physically but how about emotionally and financially. Is what you are doing working??

Make some decisions on where you want to be and take some action do get you there. Make if happen. Reach for those dreams and grab on tight. Find something you can believe in and cast those nets wide.

When you cast your nets in the right places you will draw in the fish you are seeking. That action will bring you much happiness and can be financially rewarding. You will walk with a smile on your face and know you are doing what you were meant to do. It is such a reward when you can help others cast their nets and find abundant fish.

Keep Living Your Dream.

What will today bring?

Another day to walk and clear my mind. The days are getting cooler, I guess Fall is here. Some are thinking of traveling south I bet. I want to be a snowbird. This next summer we plan on going to Hawaii. Not sure if we will use our wholesale membership for a Condo or a taxes only stay. It has been since '99 since I was there and I cannot wait to take the kids this time.

Shelby and Cody are going to homecoming! They are growing up, where did the time go? I am so glad to be able to be here for them. Soon they will be off to college. They all ready want to be with their friends. Cody will be driving soon and then Shelby, then jobs, then graduation, then oh my a whole new set of adventure for them. It will be bittersweet for us. They do have to fly though just like we did. I wonder what they will be, and where they will travel?

Can you remember those days? All the things you were gonna do, places you were gonna go, things to accomplish? I still have my list that I check off and yes, I am adding more to do and see! It reminds me of that movie The Bucket List. Did you see it? I am thinking we should always be doing that.

Have a great day, until next time

WOW WHAT A DAY

What a beautiful day. I walked 2 miles this morning in peace. The cool breeze on my face as I thought about my day. The kids were off to school. Laundry was started and dinner was on the list for later. To think we were just in Orlando last week not worrying about the day to day! We get to travel for wholesale.

Today I will research information about blogging. So, here I am. My blog is up and this is the first entry. Keep coming back to see what each day brings. My day usually consists of daily household things to keep the family going. Fixing lunch for Nate when he gets home and then he gets to nap. He's not so fond of that anymore but I love it! Next home is Cody. He is in high school and looking for a job and a truck. Wonder which will come first? Shelby plays volleyball so we go to her game or I pick her up from practice. Last Brandon gets home from school and we see about homework. This is why I work at home.

Laced in between all that, for a couple of hours a day I return client calls and get them the info they are looking for about working from home. I keep a schedule to follow so that most everything gets done that day. Do you get everything done?

It is a joy to help others choose a different path in life to realize their hopes and dreams.

Look forward to the next time. Hope you are all Living The Dream, whatever that means to each of you.
